AVENIR EXPORTADVENT UK Ltd - www.advent-uk.co.uk is organising a stand at the 15th Salon of International Commerce in Paris AVENIR EXPORT (www.avenir-export.com ) at the Albion Hall, CNIT Conference Centre, Paris La Défense, France from 11-13 March 2006.
1. Three day Salon in this prestigious exhibition centre in Paris next to the Arch La Defense, the huge business area just north of Porte Maillot.
2. One-hour conference on Thursday 13th March at 11.00 : ADVENT UK 1 hour conference on on North West Russia – an expanding market – on Thursday 13th March at 11.00. The Speakers are Sergei Naryshkin, Trevor Barton and Patricia Goodenough.
3. 30000 visitors, representing French exporters in the broad sense of the term (export of goods, services, technologies, finances, insurance guarantees, international governmental programs,
international partnership).
4. 200 exhibitors amongst which are Governmental structures of different countries, Embassies, Chambers of Commerce, International exporters, insurers and other services to exporters.ADVENT UK Ltd has a stand during this exhibition (C 25) and will present business opportunities in Russia. ADVENT UK has signed an agreement with the Association North West, based in St Petersburg, which groups 11 independent regions of the Russian Federation (including the city of St Petersburg and the region of Leningrad, the favourites for foreign investments and joint ventures). You will meet the VIPs from this region.
Our approach to the Russian market is on 3 levels:
1. By the Russian Administration (Ministries of Economy, Industry, Health, Energy, Agriculture etc.) to research or secure the project with their cooperation and practical assistance.
2. By the Commercial sectors of the Embassies, Trade Partners, Export Departments, the Chambers of Commerce of Great Britain and France.
3. B2B, or B2AB (via the Russian Administration) with selected Russian companies verified by the Government.We know that the economic factors in "Old Europe" are very slow at present!
Russia has been declared "BB stable" by Moody's and Standard & Poor with an upgrade in view.
Growth factor for Russia for 2006 is judged at 4%.
The rouble is also perceived as a stable currency, to the surprise of most economists.
Russia has honoured all its external debts.
Putin is a strong and visible President, and has asked Russians with outside investments to re-invest into Russia.
New legislation to secure investors both foreign and Russian has been passed, and further legislation is being discussed.
There are large petrol and gas resources in Russia.Today, the Russians are asking to do business with us. Tomorrow, you will be asking to do business with them.
